YOu guys in AUstin bettah listen up start putitng proper notes on the accounts or there is going to be some serious problems, you think coaching is bad, not when I get my vacation time and kick a little YANK butt, start making proper notes, quit cold transferring screamers and smarten up
sign disgruntled ATTWS in CANADA, thats right we have your jobs, for good reason too you guys stink

No one, I am just sick and toired of inadequate reps not leaving proper notes on the accounts causing mass credits to be issued because we cannot verify on way or the other, or when reps don't even read verbatims, its screws the rest of us over, yeah I am sick and tired and even my supervisor knows this there is going to be a mass coaching going on if austin doesn't start doing their jobs instead of their cousins 😲

I'am just tired of it all, it seems to be always austin who screws up and then they think that by viewing the account they won't be rfound out I had an austin rep tell a cust that if his phone says att he isn't roaming....on a local plan yes he was roaming on our networks, or that he won't be charged roaming if he is on our national plan anywhere in the us this is ridiculous I had an austin rep tell someone that they can get no roaming on a tdma shared plan, not true I've also had reps from austin transfer a screamer 2g to 2g this is ridiculous our jobs are hard enough its a good thing cingular is only getting rid of att centres not third party vendors cause there need to be a major clean up also dealers... nuff said no way will I analyze a ...

try working for sales support where you have fun fixing the stuff the sales reps "promised" the customers (or misunderstood), or getting plenty of calls from care over web orders when you are not allowed to do anything with web orders anymore.

you're not the only one who has to put up with problems from other depts, everyone does (and not just attws either).

Yeah it was really nice when one day care was told they were supposed to handle calls regarding web orders and had no idea what to do. It was just like "okay you guys handle web orders now!"...oh well...but one of my fav lines is "The guy who sold me the phone said I was getting a free car charger and case sent to me, I got charged for them but never got them." hmmmm, let me call sales...

well it was almost the same thing for us.
we came into work with sheets posted on every cubicle saying "you no longer handle web orders, transfer all web order customers to customer care" and they disabled our logins for the web order systems to make sure we couldn't do anything for them.

the honest truth is there are bad people everywhere. I have had customers where a vendor rep told them " oh sure if you pay us 100 a month we won't cut off your service" or "sure let me give you 1300 minutes for 39.99 plus free mobile to mobile for a one year contract." if the rep cannot fulfill offers they say oh my system just went down call back. (The sales team had a problem with that mobile to mobile too. Thinking 4.99 then waive $5 would cut it.) Stores (direct and indirect) will for the most part ignore someone if they find out they are an existing customer. The point is they're bad reps everywhere.

Its funny you should mention that part about reps in stores ignoring existing customers. I just had a call where a guy was trying to buy 2 Samsung x426's (for some reason)and he called a store to ask if they had any in stock. After revealing to the store rep that was an existing customer he was told they none left. Curious, the guy called back like an hour later and said he was a new customer and the exact same rep said "yeah we've got lots of 'em!" Needless to say the guy freaked out on me ( 😕 )...But anyway, I have nothing against store reps, I wouldn't help anyone if I wasn't making a commision off it ;)...Oh yeah and by the way, no one in the store told me about this $15 upgrade processing fee either...

Well about the process fee.....Cingular charges $18.00, Sprint is 36.00, Nextel is 35.00, Tmobile 18.00, Verizon nothing (for the moment). All existing customers pay for upgrading and its usally a 2 yr that gives the best discount.
