I just had the most retarded call ever! I just had a customer call in to see how she could pay thier bill with food stamps! And yesterday, they guy sitting next to me had a guy that wanted to buy a phone with his blockbuster card! Some people should just not have cell phones! 🙄

There should at least be an IQ test, that should go for reps too! If you can't pass an IQ test, you don't get a job! This would make everyone's lives easier, however; it wold considerably lower the job market!

no kidding-I just had a sst rep call in to reactivate a tdma phone-I'm a gsm rep(blue side) and was unable to assist and he wanted to know why not? an IQ test would be nice for some reps! 🙂

I can't tell you how many times I have had reps trying to transfer a cusotmer to me to do a Blue to Orange migration. The conversation goes as follows:

Me: I'm sorry, I will have to transfer you to the tiger team, we don't do that in this dpt.

Rep: You are in NBO right? 🙄

Me: Yes, we only handel blue accounts here.

Rep: But this is NBO, you do migrations.

Me: I'm sorry, we only do blue to blue migrations, we don't have any orange systems here.

Rep: If you don't want to do your job, just get me a rep who will...

At that point I cold transfer to the tiger team. I'm sorry but how can I do a blue to orange migration if we don't have orange systems, have not gone throught orange training, and no nothing about orange ph...

it is definately frustrating! I am constantly getting calls for tdma accts and I keep saying I'm sorry, I can't help you-it's like people only hear what they want to hear and when you tell them you can't help they hear YOU WON'T HELP!

dunno about nbo, but beuc reps have esnet, which contains the bmg pricing grid (under the nbo tab), and should have access to cingular.com (check esnet under beuc, go to directory, click on consumer website) for rate plans. That is what tiger teams have, the only thing beuc/nbo might not have is IWOF, and the only thing they probably don't have is orange stuff (for migration purposes this is CSP and otiva). Any BEUC rep can quote equipment prices (check ePM, check esnet for offer elligibility, if they are good to go, then click on the bmg grid in NBO) and rate plans. Any BEUC rep should be making sure that the issue isn't resolvable on former aws systems (warranty exchange, equipment upgrade etc)before transfering the customer. The next beuc...

Yes but the majority of the world is made up of stupid people and the companies would not make any money if you needed a cell licence. Its not like the CEO has to speak to em. WTF does he care?? 🙄
