i know exactly what you mean, there is really no point of sst 👿 , they don't do $h!t all they know how to do is transfer calls. at least they can do that properly!!!. But that is about all they can do. why don't they just get rid of them, they are as useless as tits on a bull!!!! I would rather take the Q any day then to take calls from SST 🙄

I have a serious question. What is the purpose of SST? They seem to be pretty much receptionists (at least from my perspective WEX Resdesk)

well, for the most part, yeah, they are glorified receptionists that (theoretically) have enough info to help customers with the most general and basic concerns that can be taken care of in a couple minutes, so that customer care can have enough time and breathing room to tackle the real problems.
that said, SST has effectively become a group of switch operators that sets the customers up with (fake) good news so we can knock them down with bad news/the truth.

Actually they do do something. They are extremely great escalated customer transferers and causers

So when you were new you did not make any mistakes?
Of course, many SST reps are dumber than logs 😕
But a small number of us did come in and go through SST, Care, and then on to CSE and managed not to be morons.
