Not quite true. Unlimited mobile-to-mobile not available on Digital One Rate Plans and certain shared plans. Check the new literature coming out for full details.

I am not bashing anybody, but how is it the first of its kind when Sprint has been giving out Sprint to Sprint calling with a 2 year agreement for over a year? You can call any Sprint PCS customer anywhere in the country while on the Sprint digital newtwork and never be charged for your minutes. If I am missing something, please let me know. I am not trying to be a smart a$$ or anything, I am just making sure I am reading t...

From the information I've gathered, Sprint has had this promo, but has been charging it's customers $5-$10/month for the promo.

That's the intel we've been provided. Granted, with special circumstances, I'm sure that Sprint's CSRs have some latitude on what they can give existing customers.

Sprint offered it for $10 more than a year ago. Right now here is the way it is being offered. If a customer signs up for 2 lines or more, or adds a second line to their account with a 2 year agreement, they get PCS to PCS for free. Otherwise you can add it to single line accounts for $5 a month. Until a few months ago, they gave it our free on any 2 year agreement. Most existing customers will get PCS to PCS free, when they renew their agreement. I just don't understand how its the first of its kind when even T-mobile does it.

t-mobile only does it on family plans.
at&t has it on almost all there plans
not individual.
on individual plans you have to ad 6.99 for unlimited mobile2mobile. t-mobile has one advantage one year contracts.

49.99 TDMA shared plan with the two year contract. Because then you cant have the mtm. And im curious. The intranet at work says to any AWS cust nationwide. But is it a typo and supposed to mean only within the national mtm area or is it literally anyone. Nobody I asked knew the answer ☚ī¸

Are you on the GSM Family plan, or the TDMA Shared plan? (there's a difference).

If you have GSM, then you'll be fine. But if you have TDMA (digital) then the unlmtd m2m feature will probably be automatically removed by the system because it is not compatible with the shared plans.

If you're not sure if you have GSM or not, look at your phone....does it contain a SIM card or not? If it does, then you're on GSM.

If for any reason you do have a digital phone, and the shared plan, I would highly recommend calling into customer care and checking on the status of your account, because that rep added something she should not have.

Just trying to help. =)

Excellent. Would not want to see another customer get angry when what they were told was a valid promo really isn't. Yeah it does happen....unfortunately.

Good luck you and thanks for choosing AT&T Wireless.

everyone is scared of the 2 year contract. if you are with a good company like AWS, and you are like me and everyone else in the world. you will most likely have a cell phone untill the day you die. so what is 2 years.

Out of the 10 contracts I extended today, 6 were two year and all 6 did not hesitate one bit when I offered the 2 yr deal. Usually I get some rumblings.

I think people are starting to realize that to get the deals they want, they are going to have to commit.

I work with several long term AWS employees (mainly trainers now) who have been with the company for 10+ years. And they say that the 1yr/2yr contract requirements go in cycles. The focus will be on 2yr contracts for 1-3yrs, then the focus will go to only 1yr contracts. Just like free phones....

You have some valid points...however...one point I want to clear up is that you will ALWAYS have the opportunity to change your plan/promos while under contract. Some promos change on a daily basis and if your account qualifies, you are welcome to change.

What if another company has a better promo???
you are stuck with what you have.

I'm more than 100% sure you can change your plan while you are under contract. I'm more than 90% sure that if you change to a promo you extend your contract for a year or two from that point on.
