No Service Areas And ETF's

McG

Just wondering what some people think about customers moving to an area where their cell phone company doesn't have signal. Should the cust be held to the ETF or should it be lowered or should they get time off their contracts or compensation of any sort? Just wondering because I had a cust gripe at me about this and wanted to see your guys' thoughts. I personally think that the cust should have to pay the full ETF. Nobody force them to move to an area where there is no service so they brought it on themselves. I also think customers should be able to send their phone back to the company to take time off their contract, as long as the phone is in great standing and has all parts. Just a though 😁

I agree with you that the ETF should NOT be waived. As you stated, no one asked them to move and if they would have read their T's and C's, they would know that service is not guaranteed in all areas. I am very sympathetic to those people, but they agreed to be a customer in THAT area and they CHOSE to move out of that area and into an area where there is not service.

It's just one more thing the customer needs to be fully educated on at POS (either in store or thru IMAGINE - or whatever we're calling it this week).

😉

I think that the customers should pay for their move...we cannot control where they go to. It all boils down to P & P, it does go into further detail in that little book we call TERMS AND CONDITIONS that customers hardly ever read. For me, if I get an a**hole...there is no way I will nego. anything, if they are nice....I will work with them. I just wanted to add a small note that I think it's funny reading all these posts, other companies reps bashing each other. C'mon you guys, do you think that the companies really care about us? We are only small pieces to the puzzle. About Verizon.....Yes, you guys may think that your crap don't stink...well REALITY BITCH SLAP! I can beleive that argument if you guys didn't have to mer...

The cust can call reachout & it will go through, but you cannot call that same # from your call master.
