BB Bold 9650...Not a signal hound
Anyone having trouble with this new VZW BB? 🤨
I've had this problem before and after the recent update, most recently it just went to 1x 'searching for network'. 😳
Never had any problems with any other VZW phones or BB's for that matter. 😕

I've had the same thing happen to me with my Tour. My Curve used to hold pretty consistent at -80 dBm. My Tour is all over the place. One minute -80 dBm and the next -106 dBm.

It's them international phones. They need to go back to their own countries and leave our domestic phones alone!

That is exactly what I thought was causing the poor reception. I haven't had any dropped calls buy data sessions will sometimes stall.

Now I'm wondering if the latest update has something to do with my trouble. Before the update the battery life was good, now 8 Hrs later the battery is almost dead. 😳

I'm on my second BB Bold 9650 and the signal indicator and db's do the same thing as the first, goes from full bars -80db to no bars -102db and back and forth for no apparent reason. 😕
So I guess I can wait (hopefully) a software fix and hope it's not a hardware problem.

I didn't really notice my Tour doing this when I had one. Perhaps it is a software issue with one of the updates these devices have gotten. 😕

Yep!! I placed my Tour side by side with my old Curve and my Curve would stay solid at around -80 and my Tour would be all over the place.
