Motorola Droid
I’m assuming VZW’s Motorola Droid will have some of the same internals kind of like an assembly line, use the same basic design just swap out some carrier specific components
I have been eagerly awaiting this VZW Motorola Android device, I sure hope it turns out better than TMO’s.

In a word, horrid. Where I live and tested this phone, there is ample 3G coverage from T-Mobile, yet the CLIQ barely connected to T-Mobile's 3G network. Most of the time, it fell back to EDGE. This made for terrible web and data performance. A phone such as the CLIQ needs 3G all the time to really be useful. O

I've dumped all my extra cell phones on Ebay to pay for the Droid.
I know Motorola has put out some crap lately but I'm still a fan of the Moto's that weren't crap.
And I've been wanting to jump on the Android band wagon for a little while now.
So...Moto, Android, VZW I'll give it a try. 😎

And you can't count sales numbers as "being happy" considering that you own the thing for the term of the contract whether or not you really like it.
I will admit that the original razr was a good phone. But from that point, they became cheaper and klunkier.
As for the cellphone ringer.. I'd be very suprised if it was quiet. motos on verizon are loud, and smartphones are loud, so we'll see. (and why in the world would you care how a speakerphone sounded in a bar?)

not if it is made by motorola!! they are the worse phones, never had one that didnt freeze up or act sluggish all the time
