XV-6800 release
Date is set for 8/16... just in. No date set for 755p, or i760. Green EnV is set for 9/2. Also saw a list for several other phones.
...
Bro, he is looking at that list from HOFO.
Old news, that pic has been floating around for months now.
...
yeah i know...and everyone keeps referencing it like its the absolute truth...ridiculous.
...
It was a screen shot from an internal document. The QA guys have confirmed it. Still unsure how it got leaked, but the dates are correct
...
It's not in InfoCenter. I seriously doubt it will be coming out in 6 days.
...
why do we have to go through this everytime a new phone comes out. It's getting so ridiculous with all of this speculation.
When a phone comes out, this is what happens...
--Its in infocenter, reps will start buzzing about it
--Stock will start to arrive at the stores, but they may or may not be able to actually sell the phone.
--VZW may release a press release stating the exact date for release.
--Finally, reps will continue to provide info on concrete dates as supply continues to come in. And the eventually a final date for sale will be set and the phone will be sold.
This is how it happens damn near everytime a new phone is released, and I dont see why this would change for this crop of new phones.

It's a shame you can't sticky that.
...
I know right! I might repost as its own new thread...i think people need to realize how this whole system works.
And looky here, verizon just released a statement about the V9m with concrete dates 🙄
...
The sheet was updated last on August 6th. Far as I know, the phone should still be coming out. It is possible that the release day has been postponed, but not before august 6th's update came in.
...
Phones usually pop up in InfoCenter about two weeks to a month before they're released. This phone is not in InfoCenter. It's not coming out on the 16.
...
VX-6800 definately not out on the 16th. there are none in DFILL.
...
