Nobody's data/multimedia beats sprint. and in a couple of years most people will have internet/data capable phones e.g. iphones treo's blackberry's sidekicks. With verizon's high data prices and lack of multimedia with pda devices. People will go to sprint...and sprint will have wimax...and sprint has had unlimited text messaging since 2000 for only 8buks a month and unlimited data for only 15buks...

Actually, Verizon needs to get their behinds together cause besides that unlocked bluetooth, everyone wants them also to put their unlimited nights earlier. I don't as many dropped calls as I did with T-Mobile, but I am happy with them nonetheless. I have been with them almost 4 years now and I'm a very loyal and paying customer to them since 2003. đ đ 𤤠đ đ đ

My two years with Verizon were hell, but hey that's just me. And yes, Spring would be much worse. However come Friday we can offer unlimited messaging, not just M2M, UNLIMITED!

Perhaps in direct response to recent competitive pressure, it now appears that AT&T will be launching unlimited messaging on some of its plans beginning April 20, not the almost-unlimited allowances rumored previously. Specifically, the Messaging Extreme package has been rechristened "Messaging Unlimited" and MEdia Max 3000 is now -- you guess it -- "MEdia Max Unlimited" to indicate the limitless bounty of SMS and MMS now bundled with those packages. Furthermore, MEdia Works and MEdia Max are moving from 1,000 to 1,500 messages monthly. All good news for wallets, but bad news for thumbs. Read on for AT&T'...

BEST NETWORK MY ASS. I had verizon for 1day and 1day only got them because they had the treo 700p first out of 16calls that day 9 of them were dropped. No multimedia with your dataplan. have to get a 3rd party just to get instant messaging on the phone. Took my number right back to sprint.

I aint weepin at all, I have always hated cingular, I had to many bad experiences with em, and I can say that I have had experience with all the major providers, and verizon is by far the best to me, they ay be a lil more expensive, but they have provided me with the best service so far so I'ma stick wit em and I'm glad they gave in to the unlimited text messaging cause I text way to much to not have unlimited.

I guess you should consider a switch now! Ask any of your other friends in here that have switched. They seem pretty happy in the Cingular forum... I've also seen their posts on the 8525, BB Pearl, SYNC, and in the V3xx forums... Check for yourself! It's just a few clicks away.

If you switch, stay away from the Sync, 8125, treo 680, cu400, and the regular v3. I'm a Cingular warranty rep.

what issues have you seen with the sync? We've had really good response in the stores with almost zero complaints about warranty issues.

I had a chance to use my friends cingular phone this weekend, OMG no thanks cingular sucks bad!!! verizon gave me the Samsung u740 with my NE2 can't beat that!!!! cingulars network needs much improvement before I'll ever consider them again.

nope look on verizon website they are giving away the samsung u70 with NE2..and as far as cingular I tried this weekend at it fell terribly short compared to my verizon service.
