1. Had to look this one up, but its been a little over 2 years (NOV 2004)
2. I currently use the 8300, almost bought the enV, but I couldn't handle the small font on both of the screens.
3. Fav phone, would probably be the audiovox, 9900. Great phone for its time and it had awesome reception.
4. My ultimate phone would have...

Chris`
Push--you can send and recieve from various email servers.
Pull--You can pull the messages from the server, but you cannot respond to them.
Is that sbout right?
The best way to think of pushed email is with text msgs. U receive txt msgs the instant (for the most case) they are sent with out u doing anything. Blackberries on a Blackberry Enterprise Server work the same way; emails sent are received almost instantly. The email is pulled automatically from the server the automatically pushed to the device.
With pull email u can respond to them but the only difference is that the user manually initiates the pull by either pressing "send/receive" on the pda or having it done in a set timed interval done through the settings of pda.

1)I have been viewing PS for two years and enjoy this site very much.
2) I'm currently sporting the LG 8300 and believe it to be the best phone I've used in my ten years with verizon. I pretty much buy any verizon phone that looks half way appealing to me, my last purchase being the Gzone.
3) I'm currently feeling the itch to ju...

Is the Pantech 820 still coming out real soon? You think you'll get it?

I have been on here about two years, check this site about two to three times a day.
Right now I have the 9800 and 9900.
I would like the form factor of the chocolate with a rubberized coating and no touch sensitive buttons and full web with sync to outlook.

1) 'bout a year
2) E815 cause it is best reception phone available
3) LG TM510 - graetest phone of it's day. First reasonably priced clamshell.
4) I'm gonna break the rules and use non-existng parts/specs
-Could use as a TV remote
-Could use (perhaps via bluetooth) as a handset for cordless land-line phone.
2)I have the LG EnV right now, I've had it for 2-3 weeks, and of the phones i have had with verizon including the 700w and others, the EnV is absolutely perfect for me. I still love it, and I go thru phones fast.
3)If I could have had the 700w with cheaper data and a faster windows OS I would have been happy as a clam...oh yeah, better screen res too.
Anyway, I love this thread too, good job schnoze.

1. Just checked. Feb of '05.
2. Treo 700w. Because I demo this to customers and get my email and I text quite a bit. Plus I use the pocket word and excel to create docs and send them to others in the company...all the while I am sitting in a coffee shop at 8am...
3. Moto V710 (best reception ever...with any phone I have ever owned.)...

over a year
2. What current VZW phone do you have and why?
LGvx 8100 and 8300. I use my 8100 more b/c I like the ability to read the txt on the exterior screen, the 8300 I use the VZ nav if I go on a trip.
3. What is your favorite VZW phone of all time?
LG 8100 or Moto E815
4. What would be your ulitimate phone; only stipulation is that u can only use existing VZW phone parts or specs.
Big screen phone but not a PDA, EV-DO, and MediaFLO capable to watch tv (next month), E815 RF, a track wheel or something like an iPod jog shuttle, hidden keypad, stereo speakers, Full BT including stereo BT, OBEX, features of the a990 would be cool too, 3.2 MP camera with video out for pix/flix or Media...

Umm...quite a while. At least a year if not longer
2. What current VZW phone do you have and why?
LG 8600. I like the style of the chocolate in the flip phone. Great features, only improvement could be the speaker phone.
3. What is your favorite VZW phone of all time?
StarTac of course. Best darn phone ever made. Could withstand being dropped, thrown and kicked and would still work with the best reception ever.
4. What would be your ulitimate phone; only stipulation is that u can only use existing VZW phone parts or specs.
Similiar to the LG 8600. Better

Since I haven't had the 8600 for very long, and my only other phone was the LG7000. I am going with the 7000. I loved it!
I would like a phone like the 7000 with speakerphone, better camera quality, bluetooth, and VCast...

I also have a Nokia 6256i which is my "911" phone for when I go camping because its a tri-mode phone. I have about 5 or 6 backups because I get bored and whe...

I am currently using the LG VX9900, and Black Q. Previous phone was the Samsung 950
Dont make fun of me gunny, I love my 9900, but my favorite phone was the Startac. Nothing can compare to the quality of that phone.
My ultimate phone would be my 9900 with a MAC os that would sync with my address book, ICal and ITunes.
Yes the StarTAC was unbeatable
I currently have the moto Q to get work email and the lg 9900 for play 🙂
favorite phone of all time right now...would be a tie between lg 9800 and the lg 8100.
Ultimate phone would be an lg 8600 looking phone without finger prints with the 3.2 megapixel camera and swivel factor from the samsung 990 and a keyboard like the 9800.
