Any new Nokias on Verizon?

While I think the 3589i is a good phone, is there any chance that we will see any of the new Nokia CDMA models on Verizon anytime soon? Sprint gets the 3205 and the 6225, and the 6585 is great as well. And there's the 6255i, a flip phone with a camera and bluetooth.

I AM SO INTERESTED IN AN ANSWER THAT I AM REPEATING THIS QUESTIONS. Maybe we can get some real phone discussion vs. all the mud slinging 😁

Oops >> I also read that VZW may introduce the 6019i which looks OK but may not have the features that the 3589i has. I was in the mountains in Maine and had a digital signal(two bars), received and held calls with no drops. My son with his Moto T730 could only get "searching for service" on the same VZW system standing next to me. So the phone does matter. Nokia is solid !!

The t720/730 is a bit suspect. I was sitting on a dock with my buddy, getting ready to get into a boat, and my v60s had 2 bars of signal while his t730 had none. Both on VZW service, and he was PISSED. I laughed at him, then dropped some bait shrimp down the back of his shirt for good measure.

yeah, comparing the nokia to a moto and calling the nokia solid is like comparing a hyundai and yugo and calling the hyundia solid. yeah, its better, but still not worth spending money on.

Then you are high as a kite... the 3589i is quite possibly the most reliable phone that Verizon is even offering right now. It has great reception and durability, and it's easy for people to use. In fact, it's my "safety" phone, meaning that if a customer doesn't really care what phone they get and doesn't want to spend a lot, I can point them towards that one and I know they will be happy. I haven't had a single complaint about one in a whole year... other than the customers who turn their phone off and then think it must be broken becuase it won't work.

I agree with that statement 100%. One of our store that is in a low service area sells more of those phones that anything, and its the only one that does not come back with problems or with people saying that it doesn't work or is dropping calls. 😛
