I heard on the news that Verizon Wireless struck a deal with YouTube to be able to watch some of the most watched videos from Youtube right on your phone. It didn't mention that it would be an addition to Vcast though. Anybody heard about this? Its not supposed to go into play until next month they said.

yes but verizon once again decided to be the control freak company they are- they will decide what content is available for your viewing and it sure to be all pg rated junk. they even released the 9900 with no web access 😳 😳 😳

the point is some like unlimited web. Some don't care. If you like unlimited web and the ability to do whatever you want on it then sprint is your answer. I don't care if sprint only adds one a month. The fact remains that they do provide unlimited web!

😕 The reception is not awful I have both Sprint and Verizon and they are fairly equal, but Sprint comes out on top with call clarity

I don't know about your INDIVIDUAL experience. All we can go by is the bottom line numbers. Sprint is purging customers like mad while VZW is the highest in net ads. What does that tell you? Sprint consistantly scores low on most surveys for quality. VZW consistantly scores highest. Why?

Ah, did not know that. Up here it is 800 for voice and 1900 for data. I would say kept that way because 800 is better for voice...

I agree 800 is much better. I have worked in old airtouch markets(800) and primeco markets(1900). I still see people come from the west coast or east coast that still have old dual mode phones(800 and amps)and they cant get a digital signal in most of the southeast. Houston is one of the only 800 markets in the southeast

you people all kill me you talk before you have your facts. Verizon towers are 49%1900 and 51% 800. They have been switching to 1900 as it has more spectrum. That is why they can't offer true unlimited data. They will be able as they move more to 1900. 1900 is less crowded and better sound. Yes it doesn't go into buildings well but well enough. And every company has their bad times. Kmart was bankrupt a few years ago. Wish I bought stock when they were I would be rich right now. Get over the verizon is posting better numbers. That doesn't mean its better. I won't say which is better as it allot of personal opinion. But don't bad mouth based on false info like verizon picked 800 mghts because its better. They were started way before spr...

This isn't much different then the Moives On Demand thing Sprint does... They released all their movies washed clean, I don't even see the point of them releasing Scarface to download. Just easier to use a movie to mobile converter and a memory card for your phone. This is America, parental control is still alive and well in the media.
