im kind of interested in the "web-based instant messenger" does this finally mean IM'ing wont come out of your txt plan, just be considered data if you subscribe to mobile web or something.. if so I dont care how much this phone costs.

looks like theres a bunch of obex stuff on it too.. hopefully thatll stay on there

chill on the talk time. all the manuf. embelish the talk time so people will buy the phone. hell my Q bookelet says about 16hrs talk time, it barely last through the day.

we have the phones in store now, the hinge takes some getting used to, but overall im really impressed with the phone thus far.

Could someone provide a short explanation on what exactly wireless does? I have always been a little confused about this.

I know you could use this with the 9800, but do you use it in conjunction with mobile web? or is it a standalone service? how much?

I would love to have this with my gmail account, this 9900 is going to scream

Anyone thanks

wireless sync is basically a blackberry like service for a non blackberry device. It is available on most vcast handsets. It used to be $20 a month, but it was recently lowered, I forget the new price but i think its around $12 a month. someone correct me if i'm wrong.

it is seperate from mobile web

basically the phone notifies you when an email is recieved but there is an upto 15 minute delay. It is the same service the Q or any of the treo's or the 6700 use for email, however much cheaper. The 9900 is much more ideal for this application than say the 8300 for the obvious keyboard reason.
