Chaperone Question
The Chaperone program was released earlier this year as a 'Child Locator' to work with the MIGO phone and another Chaperone capable phone.
Is the MIGO still the only GPS 'trackable' phone that you can use without getting into the business solutions, like Field Force manager or Fleet Manager?

You mean with Chaperone. Field Force Manager or Fleet Manager work with a number of phones, don't they?

ffm works on the v325 if i remember right. more phones for chap will be out very soon.

these phones by vzw site has chaperone use by them. lg 8100,5200.the v,4650,samsung a970,a950,moto e815,razrv3c,v3m. these are some that the site shows.

Yes, but only the kids MIGO is the transmitter. The other phones can track the MIGO, but not the other way around.
You can't for example, track a V with a RAZR.

actually wnrussell,by what i was told you can track any of the phones that has chaperone on them. its not just the migo anymore. phones with chaperone are trackable.

Don't believe everything that you are told... I assited in the development of Chaperone and as of right now, the MIGO is the only phone that can be tracked. The other phones listed can track the MIGO, but cannot be tracked. Soon, you should be able to use this on any phone, but for right now, the MIGO is the only trackable phone...

mitchell1 is wrong and thanks for putting that on there i was about to copy and paste it myself (see other post correct information). I think mitchell1 is confusing 'trackable' handsets with what handsets can use the 'parent application'.

if you would read the original question that would be great before you give out false info like you did mitchell1. TRACKABLE is the ?. u can NOT track any other phone than the migo right now. ANY text capable device thru verizon can get the alerts from child zone and the lg 4700 5200 6100 7000 8100 9800 moto 815 razr and samsung 950 970 support the PARENT APPLICATION.

yeah. that is correct. does anywhere in the explanation of the feature say those phones are TRACKABLE? That was the original ? come on now it's not that confusing is it?

Right now it's just the Migo that can be tracked. There will be other phones later this year or early next year that will be trackable. Marketing wants to get a phone that Middle Schoolers and High Schoolers would enjoy but for now it's only the Migo.
