Will Verizon Ever Carry....?
This completely shows how much you know about cell phones... 🙄
I challenge any Vzw phone to meet the features and the quality of the call of any SE phone. Especially the Walkman phones. 😈
EVERY SINGLE Ericsson I sold was garbage, im talking about old school phones now.
500/600/700 series back for ATT
1228, 280 series for ATT/Cingular
T60 series for Cingy and Verizon
They were built like absolute tanks, the only thing that sucked with those phones was the damn battery would get loose and disconnect. Everybody knew about the simple fix too, rip a business card in half then fold it over and put it under the battery and slide it back in. 🤣

🤣 🤣 And that always made the customers day and was the easiest fix ever.

What about the Sony Ericsson T610. That was a piece of crap for reception.
When you compare that with the Motorola E815...
Thats how a Verizon phone can beat a Sony Ericsson in reception. 😎
I use Sony Ericsson phones myself with Cingular and the reception is unmatched by other handset manufacturers. Maybe you should try one sometime.

I agree
Who wouldn't 😉
I love SE phones. I like the fact that when you can carry a SE phone no-one could ever think that I'm carrying a CDMA phone LOL I know, I know, it's silly; but I can't let that happen to me. 😕
I do apologize for that post then.
However, I still believe that Sony Ericsson's reception is (now) unmatched only by Nokia in the GSM arena. If you haven't already, try a more recent model out for yourself. I'm willing to bet you'll be surprised.

Oh man! you're comparing a pre-merger phone with a Verizon phone, not too fair. How about any post merger SE phone for example a z520a...

SONY ERICSSON doesn't produce CDMA phones. As far as I know they only work with GSM technologies, so most likely they'll never have them.
Did Nokia follow Sony Ericsson's foot steps by pulling out too? I'll let you guys figure that one out! 🙄

Sony Ericsson stopped making CDMA phones in the USA & Canada about 3-4 years ago, but still make CDMA phones for Japan & South Korea. I'm not sure what the reason was they stopped making CDMA phones for the USA, but Nokia is ceasing production of their own CDMA phones due to much of the world wanting to support GSM. Plus some people also speculate that USA CDMA carriers, especially Verizon ...

Dave- Nokia 6305i has verizon wireless ui on it.
If I'm not mistaken, the Nokia 6305i is a Pantech phone with a Nokia name on it. If what I typed is true, then of course it'll have the Verizon UI on it, and not the Nokia UI. Nokia has focussed more on basic candybar style phones for years, instead of the more advanced features, until recently, though didn't make any effort to make their own EV-DO phones before getting out making their own CDMA phones.

i think the 6305i is a sanyo nokia phone
Nokia backed out of a joint partnership with Sanyo, when they decided not to make anymore of their own CDMA cellphones. That is why they're only selling rebranded Pantech phones. It would have been interesting to see what phones would have been released by the Nokia/Sanyo partnership.
