Worst phone ever?
A little thing called the LG 1010. It came in 3 funderful colors, and none of the three worked worth a damn. Once, I had three in a row fail during activation, never to function again.
Best phone? I was always partial to the StarTac, in its various forms, and I have a Timeport 270 that I love.
I think it's funny how the name Motorola polarizes people the way it does - you either love em or hate em.
I'd have to say the worst phone was the Audiovox 135, all for the bugs it had.
The worst phone I ever used was someone elses old bag phone. Can't remember what it was called.
Worst: any motorola, particularly the original startac did not work anywhere in Kentucky but then GTE (Verizon Predecessor) Wireless didn't tell me that....
WORST: I HAVE NO IDEA I'VE ONLY USED 2 PHONES (YEAH I'M A REAL JUNKIE 🙄 )
Worst : Moto 120 from VWZ ( all six I had in 18 months)
I sell Verizon and Sprint, and have Verizon myself but Sprint takes that cake on this vote.
The Sanyo 5300 was the best I have dealt with, sturdy, reliable, great rf, and ahead of its time in features.
The worst as said before was the LG1010
We had cases of these things that came back with problems, constant no signal, battery problems, and cheaply made.
Lesson has it that it was a single band phone, although PCS is only 1900, that sets off a warning flag in my mind now.
I just don't understand why LG puts out the cream of the crop on VZW, and the worst on Sprint.
I would like to see Verizon carry Sanyo though, I only have praise for this brand thus far. Sprint seems to have an exclusive arrangment with them.

I'll nominate the Sanyo 4700 as my fave of all time. I'd also like to introduce, for your consideration, that piece of crap Ericsson (where the bottom half flipped up to cover the keypad) as worst phone of all time. It was offered by Voicestream at the time. Both my folks had one. Anyone care to offer up a model number for this shamelessly awful clunker?
That would be the Ericsson R28
MD, pretty much any Sanyo phone was awesome. The 4500 was a bit squirrely, but the 4700/4900/4920 line has been really good.
