Did I read that it was free for the first month?

Second, on new verizon service: is "Get It Now" free of charge for the first month?

2. No. get it now is never free prices will be clearly marked and airtime applies when browsing and downloading.

Vcast however is free for the first month, it also includes unlimited airtime for VZ Navigator, Mobile Web, and Get it now browsing/downloading.

yes navigator is free for a month. Just had a meeting about it yesterday morning

There is a promotion on where you can get a free month if you have never done it before. The options are FREE Expires dd/mm/yy, 3 days $2.99 or Subscription $9.99 (per month)

On Thursday, I cancelled the Navigator subscription on my wife's VX9800 because she only used it once or twice. Today, the Free Expires 7/17/06 option is available.

Is that free for 30 days for anyone signing up or just new to Verizon customers?
I'm guessing when it is downloaded this answer will be obvious!

I have a free 30 day trial, and am a long-time VZW user. I just upgraded to LG 8300 from 8100, and downloaded the app. When you look at the info, it tells you "expires 7/15/06, last used xx/xx/06.
