Release dates
Do Verizon employees really not receive expected release dates on phone. Because when I called to get "any" kind of information they said that they had no release date, "we don't get that information, when it is released it will be on our site", or they don't know anything about the phone period....and are rude and act like I am crazy or something.

We never know when phone is released, untill it is released. In some cases, we find out the launch (if it is something we need training in)... a week in advance. Things like the 8300, 930, and the 5300... are just upgrades. We may not find out till we get the info the same day. Sorry... I know thats not what you want to hear. But it is true.

FYI....Most of us here on PhoneScoop know way more than most VZW employees (except for the smart ones who are also here on PhoneScoop!)

I concur: I know well informed verizon employees exist, but never once have I talked with a store employee that new the difference between his a*s and a hole in ground.

It is difficult for all store employees to be educate on every single phone and product. Its not like we carry every phone. But I try to stay informed and knowledgeable of most products and services. If I don't know the answer to your question I will find the correct answer.

That’s great, but I have been told or over hear so many lies from store employees it’s pathetic. I’m glad you are on top of your game, wish there were more like you. I hate when I'm lied to and never let it pass. I check them every time and even then they stand there with a stupid look on their face, they usually follow it up with more lies. Very few are decent enough to simple say I didn't know that, or let me get you...
