sprint nights now start at 7 pm
i saw a tv commersial that sprint wireless nights start at 7 pm. i didn't see any mention that there is any extra cost for this. i hope we start getting some copetition going. verizon plans haven't changed in a long time. i'de love to see a lower priced family plan like cingular has and earlier nights like sprint has.

yeah and then we can get rollover, and maybe start our nights at 5 instead. and free incoming! man, we'll be able to screw ourselves financially like noone else can. verizon likes people on higher rate plans. as long as people do it they will not offer that stuff. it's obvious by the numbers that people will continue to do it. i too would like to see enough of a challenge from someone to make verizon change some things, but those things aren't them. maybe some more minutes on the plans, not really a price change. i would like the old $59.99 plan back, but i also like the fact we don't have it. people will sign up for the $69.99 plan, it's the existing customers that are upgrading that it makes a difference on. we'll see what happens, and goo...

Well now it's FREE. 7pm nights comes standard on Fair and Flexible plans. But we still offer 6pm too.
Oh and if you want you can add 7pm or 6pm nights to your unlimited incoming plans. (for additional cost)

When sprint gets 850 and CS that doesn't rank at tbe bottom all reconsider them again. Had them for one year they suck. And on the individual plans you still have to pay extra for mobile to mobile how lame is that. They are a sub-par company compared to verizon.

I am sick of hearing the best about Verizon for nothing. 👿 It is claimed as the best network in USA. I don’t understand, if it is not customer friendly, then the ***** it. I don’t expect VZ should give everything in one package like night starts early plus incoming free or roll-over/ fair&Flexible. VZ loyalist are ready to pay for the Early night, but the Company is so rigid (for no reason) on that. That makes people like me to go to Sprint or Cingular, etc. I know that VZ covers even in the areas where No other Company has service. But the consumers, who never visit those remote areas (Or visit once in year) and also having the friends/ colleagues with other than Verizon, find no incentive to go with Verizon.

I'm sure there is a market for 7 pm nights I certainly see no value in it for me. Most all my family and friends are 'IN' and the few that are not I have more then enough minutes to cover them. The facts are Sprint and T-mobile individual plans you must pay extra for mobile to mobile and that's a rip off if you ask me. If you don't know many ppl that are 'IN' why would you pay 79.99 for 1350 minutes when you can go to T-Mobile and get 1500 minutes for 40 bucks? The only real reason would be that you need quality coverage. Each to his own is what I say but until someone can step up to and match the excellent call clarity, coverage, outstanding CS, and over all reliability of verizon I'm staying put.

In my humble opinon VZW has got to change their night time calling options in order to be competitive. I hear it everyday since I'm on the West coast. Once its 9:00 PM here it is after bedtime for all their family on the East coast. I think something will change. VZW once said they would never have $9.99 add a line, but that changed in order to stay competitive.

Or you could switch to their carrier.....I've been with Nextel for over 5 years now. I came out of contract back in Feb. and was going to swtich to VZW. But I see just as much unhappiness at VZW as I do at Nextel. And now Sprint/Nextel has lowered their nights/weekends and have improved their plans. New phones coming....may just stay at Nextel.

While most people I know have Verizon Wireless, there are a few numbers that are tied to a landline & to carriers T-Mobile & Sprint, and it would help if Verizon Wireless offered nights & weekends starting at 7pm for so much extra a month. Sprint charges $5 more a month to start nights & weekends at 7pm, but also require a 2 year contract for that option. US Cellular has nights & weekends starting at 7pm, but only if you add it to your plan, since most plans don't automatically come with night & weekend minutes. I think Cingular charges extra to start at 7pm, and T-Mobile automatically starts at 7pm. I believe most people would be willing to pay a little more to get nights & weekends starting at 7pm. If it were about $5 a months to star...

I can't find any information on the T-Mobile website, but both the corporate mall kiosk & resellers have been offering the option of nights & weekends starting at 7pm, either included in the plan, or for so much extra a month. I don't remember which.
