On my old phone - Samsung sch-a530 - I had a long list of available applications from which to choose for downloading ringtones to my phone. Here are the names of just a few of them: MyTonz, Xringer, MIDIRingTones, Ringster, Modtones, Sony Music Box. (There were a few more, but I can't remember the names.)

Although it's understandable how people don't like the limitations on their freedom to download free stuff onto the VZW phones, GetItNow always gave me a pretty decent choice of ringtone applications. I could always find "cool" tones for my phone. No more, apparently.

Thanks for your replies. After some checking and pondering, I realized that it's indeed because my moto v325 is a newer phone. Thanks for your link, Digital Pimp: The info there on available applications shows very clearly that all of the phones except the very newest (mine and the RAZR, for example) have a wide variety of downloadable ringtone apps. I'm hopeful that more will be added to my phone over the coming days and weeks. Sweet.
