Should I dump Sprint?

** Posting Under All Carries for Full Input **

My Sprint PCS Plan is:

$95.00 (after all taxes...etc)
2000 anytime minutes
2 Lines share the minutes w/ all options below
Unlimited PCS to PCS Calling
PCS Vision Premium Pack
Picture Pack
100 Text Messages
Nationwide Long Distance Although Roaming if Added is $5.00 Extra

So here is my dilemma and what I want:

1) I want two new phones and am not impressed with the phones that Sprint offers and they will at this point in time only give me a $75.00 credit for each line.

2) Am moving to Colorado and have read that Sprint does not rate as high as other carriers.

3)HATE SPRINT CUSTOMER SERVICE! I ALWAYS WAIT ON HOLD FOR AT LEAST 20 MINUTES

4) Have not been able to use my p...

short answer "yes", just to let you know that is probably going to be the majority of answers since you posted this in a verizon forum. here is a quick "how come"

better coverage

basically the rest is going to me more or less the same.

Only thing with Verizon bluetooth, except for the Nokia 6256i (only sold at VZW authorized agents and VZW kiosks at Circuit City stores only) is that only the headsets work with bluetooth. As for the original poster mentioned about upgrade credit, Sprint giving up to $75 for each phone on the account. Verizon only offers up to $100 for the primary phone on an upgrade (additional phones are sold at price listed with no upgrade credit, NE2). That, of course is on a 2 year contract.
That is something to remember if someone signs up with Verizon Wireless, and later decides to upgrade on a family account. The best option is to have each phone on its own contract if an upgrade credit is necessary 22 months in a 2 year contract. That way, all...

You would end up paying more than $100 more over the 22 months in service though. That's exactly why NE2 is only on the primary line of a family plan.

One phone on 900 ($60) min the other on 450 ($40) totals 1350 minutes. 1400 min share plan is $89.99. That's $10 less per month than individual plans. Over 22 months you save $220. You doubled your NE2 credit, got a free leather case, and 50 extra minutes.

Dear mesohooah,

As someone pointed out 90% of the replies here will be yes. Since (as I have learned) this is a very Pro Verizon Wireless Forum.

With that being said. My personal advise to you is whichever carrier you decide to go with avoid the following.

1. Don't go on any contract for more than 1 year.

(if you get stuck and it's bad, the increase in the price of the phone does not equate the price overall cost of keeping service or terminating early, espesically with 2 units.)

2. All of the promotions/sales etc do not equate one thing.

Access on network, Ability to complete calls.
Verizon may be superior in this area for some time.

If you're a tinkerer looking to get latezt gretzt phone for free - Verizon will di...

Have not been able to use my phones at my current residence for the past 6 months and they can't tell me why (phones go from 1 bar to bars to no service). Their solution - add roaming or buy new phones (this was the store rep)! Just bought both phones less than 12-18 months ago. The CSR said the tech dept said it is not my phones but the tower here. Guess what? They put a $25.00 credit on my account.....after 6 years and over 5K of my money...I get $25.00. I have been calling them for 6 months about this issue. I also have had to put in a telephone line (haven't had one in a couple of years prior to this last move) because of the crappy reception.
