I saw an ad today in the Atlanta newspaper for a three day only sale which had the Nokia 6256i with a free Bluetooth Headset for $29. I assume that this would need a two year contract. Seems like a good deal for a moderately featureed phone and a bluetooth headset. Anyone have an thoughts on why this might not be such a good idea?
I would jump on that deal. The 6256 is a very good phone, an' far from bein' 'moderately featured', it does just about everything except EVDO/VCast. It even has full bluetooth.
$29, even wit' a 2-yr contract, is a very good price fo' that phone.

I kinda thought this sounded like BS since CC is actually Vzw owned kiosks and the 6256i is an agent only ph. So I checked CC website and there is not anywhere, even if you search, the mention of the 6256i So please, refrain from posting false info. in hopes of getting your local agent to cut the price!!!
This is not B.S. . I purchased the phone yesterday @ C.C. in Westbury,New York for $32.57 after tax,and received a free Jabra jbt150 headset. The website may not have it, but the stores do.
Give me a call when you can. I wanna talk to you about how much you can give me 3 different phones for. 😁
I bought the phone at full retail on 12/30 and I will now be selling my LG VX8100 on eBay. 😁

Not BS. CC website wouldn't have the promotion as we don't use their website to advertise. on their website you'd see ads from the old vendor that used to sell inside circuit city.
Although we are corporate owned kiosks inside Circuit City, we still get exclusive promotions that can only be honored in CC kiosks.
BJs and Home Depot kiosks get their own exclusive promotion...

My apologies, What is the deal now btw CC and Vzw???
No apologies needed. Many people are still unclear of when it comes to VZW's relationship with Circuit City. As of October 2004 Verizon Wireless leased the space in side Circuit City's to build and operate their own kiosks, and Circuit City can no longer sell Wireless phone service inside their stores. The kiosks the employees that work in the kiosk are from Verizon. The success of VZW's Circuit City "Store within a Store" has led to us expanding and setting up kiosks in BJ's wholesale warehouse, and Home Depot.

Thanks for the explantion, so does this mean that CC will be able to do all the things a Corp. store can but also receive all the benefits (diff. phones, better pricing)that an agent does????
The only thing we can't do is provide technical support. Customers would still have to take their phone to a VZW communication store for that.
