no. people who really think a cell phone's going to give them cancer are on crack. you get more microwave radiation from HBO, Dish, and Qwest satellites up in space than your phone.
hahaha exactly....thank you..........once in a while a cusmtmr will come in bitching about this crap.........who the hell cares....you only use ur phone for a couple of mins.....and its not gonna hurt you.....and the funny thing is that the people who use their phone the least worry bout this crap and ppl who use and abuse their fones dont care.....i have never herd anyone say that so and so died because of using their phone too much....its a bunch of crap.

let me just add this...if you had a choice between two razrs from verizon, one with an sar of 1.56 or one with an sar of .98, which one would you pick?
Whichever one looked more sleek and cool.

Your being facetious. the only difference between the two phones would be the SAR
To be quite honest with you, if that was the only difference and there was absolutely NO difference in appearance, I couldn't tell you which one I would end up with becaue I wouldn't ask about the SAR level. I could end up with either one - it would be up to randomization.
There is such a small amount of radiation coming out of digital phones that I do not feel the need to concern myself with it. It isn't anywhere close to the way it used to be with analog phones.

Does this absortion rate seem high to anyone?? i mean it's just .04 off of the limit. 😕
1) There's plenty of phones out there with SARs of like 1.3. So the RAZR is a deadly threat 'cus its 20% higher, but still within the legal limit? I don' know bro, don' think so.
2) From what I hear, analog phones back in the day were WAY worse than anything we got now. They broadcast wit' like 2-3 watts of power, today's digital phones max out at around six-tenths of a watt. Yeah, there's trimode phones that can do analog, but most peeps with trimodes are still on digital most or all of the time. Exception would be folks way out in the boondocks.
So if I was gonna worry 'bout anybody, I'd worry...

Truth be told, even though I have used cell phones for well over 20 years, I still to this day have mixed feelings on this whole SAR issue.

Just a thought. If anyone is concerned about the SAR of the RAZR V3c, why not install a blue tooth car kit ($200?) or buy a vehicle with one already installed and/or use a BT headset. This way the phone is not next to your head.
Yep. Or jus' use the speakerphone. 🙂
