LG "V" vs. RAZR, or just wait for Moto "Q"?

What do you guys think? My NE2 is up right around Christmas time and those are the two phones I've been thinking about, although they are completely different (especially in size). Should I just wait for the Moto "Q" smartphone coming out in Q1 of 2006?

Why even waste your time responding if you're going to be a complete a**hole? The whole point of the question was to see what those that are more knowledgeable in Verizon cell phones know about which would be the best overall phone---it's a question of the overall quality of those phones, not for forumers to make a decision for me. Obviously you have no intelligent input.

Hello Ninka, sorry that everyone else on here are assholes...

Let me give you some advice as I have had both the LG 9800 and the RAZR. It matters what you want out of your phone. The 9800 is NOT a smartphone. It is like any other phone, but it has a qwerty keyboard.

What people on this board need to know to help you is what you are going to use your phone for. If you need the scheduling/e-mailing of the pda, then obviously wait for the Q (but who even knows when that will come out 1st quarter 06 could mean 1st quarter 07 with verizon). The RAZR is a great phone, get it and get insurance and you will be happy. Unless of course, like i stated earlier you need a pda.

If you are mentaly challenged then LG is for you. Their menu design will fit you perfectly.

However...

If you like phone's that are flexible and you get to hack (usually...) go for motorola. I could not be happier with my E-815, a much better phone then the razor in terms of features and as for LG, no comments.

Thank you for replies. I'm looking for the newest phone out there that has the latest technology (possibly technology that can actually compete with GSM network phones). I really don't need the e-mail and other features that will be on the Q, but since it seemed like it would be one of the top of the line phones, I was considering it. It's also the only phone that I know of that is coming out soon since the RAZR is the big craze at Verizon currently.

Does anyone know if Verizon is going to put out any other new phones in Q1 besides the Q?

I was under the impression the Q was going to be GSM only.

Obviously you know nothing about cellphones. The "V" and the CRAZR both have the Verizon UI. That stands for Verizon User Interface. Verizon created the User Interface not LG. What a moron. Next time you want to open your mouth stick your foot in it.

I picked up my new Verizon Razr two days ago. WOW! it is really a great phone and i love the mobile web and vcast feature. will keep vcast after the 30 day trial.
Best deal on the Razr is at the Circuit City Verizon booths. Same $100 mail in rebate, same NE2 and Circuit City is throwing in another $75 rebate between now and the 25th. Why go to a factory store when the booth at Circuit City is a factory store outlet? Besides, there are less lines at Circuit City.

About the Q phone. Isn't it only for Queers and Queens?
