Bluetooth – Capable: Supports the Headset and Hands-free Profiles. Does not support Bluetooth OBEX Profiles.

Sry gunny.. guess my skepticism wuz justified. ☹️

(tho'.. there is a rumor that VZW screwed up an' the first batch of RAZRs shipped out DID have the obex, accidentally. Maybe if you get there the first day [an' avoid any firmware updates] you might get an obex razr anyway? )

HA HA! Nice try! They'll be doing an OTA update on those phones while they're still in the box, w/o the battery installed, while on the way to the stores!!! I still think that was kind of expected, though... It's been VZW's MO with Bluetooth phones so why should anything change?

Youre probably right. Looks like wit' my 6256i, I got the only full bluetooth Verizon phone. ☹️

Which might account fo' the 'red-headed stepchild' rollout the 6256i got. Not sold in Verizon stores, rumor is a lotta Best Buys are 'parently hidin' them under the counter, an' still no GIN ringtones 3 weeks after release other than a few obscure South Asian ones. A real slap in the face all 'round.

Totally speculatin' here, but maybe Nokia had Vzw over some kinda legal barrel regardin' the full BT, an' Verizon HAD to release it w/full BT even tho' they didn' want to.. but they sure did do all they could to hinder the phone's rollout.

That's too bad, b/c I would have gotten the 6256i for sure if I could under my NE2. Now I'm going to get the Moto V325 instead, comes out tomorrow or Wednesday online, who knows when in the stores. It's already up on testman.verizonwireless.com

Wrong. OTA will not disable any features that may have been "accidentally" left on the phone. OTA merely functions to initally program your phone and update its roaming software. You cannot change or disable features on phone unless a physical firmware update is done. That's why you have to bring the phone into the store to have it done, because OTA does not serve that purpose. Sorry.

I'm surprised knowing Verizon was going to actually carry this in their stores that anyone thought the BT might not be crippled...From what I have seen, if its in a Verizon store, the BT is crippled...That's why I got the Nokia 6256i.
