Hi,

I've heard that Verizon will offer the Motorola V325 next month. I also heard that it will have GPS - but what kind of GPS??

Will it just be aGPS, or will it have the GPS functionality of Nextel phones that allows the use of mapping and directions?

Any info would be appreciated - thanks!

The V325 will have AGPS and will be the first VZW phone to support LBS (Location Based Services). As I understand it, the LBS will include street maps, directions, and those sorts of services.

LBS will be offered on a monthly subscription basis - the price I've heard is 9.99. I"m told there will also be a 2.99 day use option.
