I am getting ready to get new phones from verizon[2 year deal].my current Motorola freebe phone works great in bergen county however it sucks up in vernon.I get 3 to 2 bars yet my reception is bad at times.I can hear them but they say that I am chopped up some times-2 out of 3 calls.is there a phone that is best for hilly areas.my Motorola is a tri mode & still is shaky work for verizon & wondered if it could be a bad line or carrier that you get once in a while & has a one way voice problem[it sometimes happens on the copper end of the buessness].any experts out there who can help me ?

moto's (esp tri-modes have good reception)

i've seen the new sammy 950 and it's reception is horrible unless your hugging a tower or u can get the guys from the network to lug a tower around behind you 🤣.

it freezes so much you will have to get it a jacket 🤣

try the v276 if not lookin for a "high-end" 🙄 but feature friendly phone u just have to baby it

that might be it. If there is generally low/no service in the area there might not be any good solution to your problem. I just moved into a known drop zone and just this month a tower has gone live. Reception is still next to none, but since I'm on the bottom floor of a brick apartment, and the area around me is very wooded, I'm really not expecting much.
