Nokia 6256i - ANyone know a real date ??
First it would be great if phonescoop would break out the Nokia 6256i from the other carriers. It's too difficult to read through posts that don't concern this phone on this carrier.
So when is this coming ?

A Nokia insider friend of mine says it's definitely happening, and I have to believe it'll be sometime this week. Verizon has to make the move, though, as you might imagine.
I have been periodically checking with different Verizon retail stores all over the country, and either they're being intentionally closed-mouthed about it, or they really don't know. I am being told uniformly by Verizon people is that the only Nokia coming is the 2128. Fact is, the 6256i has been manufactured, and is ready to be sold. I cannot believe Verizon would sit on this thing a whole lot longer.

I was told yesterday that the developers are taking their time one this one! That they want to make sure there is an appropriate amount of clips and limits in the software for this one so the usual of phonescoop and howards are able to fill their very empty days and have enough to cry about on the forums and try to rally the troops for a CAL!!

I doubt it will be this week 😢 it has not even showed up in infocenter yet

Seems that the 6256i will be at Radio Shack next Wednesday, $349.99. I'm guessing it will be at Verizon Wireless stores shortly thereafter.

Just spoke with my former manager at the Radio Shack in Vienna, VA. He said they just received the "dummy" of the Nokia 6256i, but was unaware that they would start selling it next week and what the retail price on it was. Apparently, this is going to happen. Patience, patience, patience!

I stopped by the VZW store in downtown Philly yesterday and they knew nothing. Today I stopped by Radio Shack on the way to the train. They said they have a new VZW Nokia clamshell phone but I had to run to catch my train before I could see it. I'm going back tomorrow and will post after looking.
