Okay, I know I posted on this before, but I fell this bears repeating.

This guy came in, phone scratched, pit-marked and had a chewed antenna. As he pissed and moaned about his lousy reception and horrible service, he's holding his phone by the antenna. Anyhow. I try to explain to this !#@!@# that 1> his phone is too damaged to exchange and 2> if his holding his phone by the antenna and waving it like a retarded monkey is normal, that's prolly the reason why he has no service on his phone. Does this pissant listen, take a look at his behavior patterns and come to a realization of "hey, this is a serious piece of electronics. Maybe I should take better care of it?" No. he desides to raise his voice and wave his phone more. I could have cou...

I like the guy that called in last week with a Qualcomm phone from 1998 that was analog only on a plan that was $7.95 each month.

He kept insisting that I, tech support at Verizon, could fix the phone since it wasn't turning on anymore. He then insisted that I send out a loaner phone that he could keep permanently for free with no contract extension. When I advised that customer service doesn't have a loaner phone program, he absolutely couldn't believe it. I adv that some stores, on their discretion, might be willing to give him a loaner phone to use.

That was fine and dandy until I told him that they wouldn't be able to re-activate his old phone because it's not GPS compliant. So...he then said that was great that we would give hi...

i can top both of those.

guy comes in with a st7868 broken in half, wants it replaced for free and tells me b4 i can even say hi that hes not spending a dime. tell him we no logner stock those phones in the stores or the warehouse, he says he needs 1 because he has a car kit for it. told him unfortunatly we dont have any available but he can contact mot directly to inquire about purchasing one. he says he isnt spending a dime the phone has warranty, explained to him the warranty expired over 3 years ago and the warranty doesnt cover phones that are broken in half. he goes off and starts yelling about how he is going to sue vzw for millions. i ask him on what ground, he says on not supporting a phone and car kit that we sold him. he ...

🤣 y'all are wild.

reminds me of the guy I spoke with 2 days ago. He calls in because he doesn't know how to increase the volume on his phone. I tell him how to do it and then he yells at me for not counting to ten while he checks the volume on his phone.

Here's 2 that I've seen over the past few months:

1) Customer comes in and tells us she has a problem checking her minutes used for the month on her phone. I told her "it's easy, just dial #MIN and it will send you a free text message." She says "I did that and it's not working." So I proceeded to check it myself and wouldn't you know, it works fine. I show the phone to the woman and she notices the "#646" on the screen (of course we all know that "#MIN" is "#646" right?). She yells "see, see!!!" I say "see what?" She says, "whenever I dial #MIN it changes to #646!!! It's NOT working!" 😳 🙄

2) Customer comes in and sees a sign which advertises a car charger and a case (seperately). On this sign, we have a case clipped to the s...

I had a guy come in yesterday and start wandering around the store. I asked what I could for him. He tells me that he is looking for a new phone. I say sure, they are over here, and lead him to our display case. I ask him if he is looking for a particular model. He says ya, a motorola v810. I say v810 that is not a verizon model of phone. He gets upset proceeds to tell me that it is and he has a couple of buddies that use that phone on our service. As I tried to explain to him that yes it is possible to flash the phone and use it on our system he storms out. He gets in his truck for a minute or two and comes back in to tell me that I lost a customer and everytime he comes in we charge him more for an item than he can get somewhere else and w...

Back to seriousness. I had a woman roll in (maybe 60ish) with a shopping cart (we have a super market by our store) She then asks "do you sell blenders?" I reply "No ma'am, we don't". She slowly, and quietly rolls outta there. About 30 some odd minutes later she rolls back with the same shopping cart "hello, do you sell blenders here?" What a crazy old bat. BTW 😳 😲 😲 😲 😕 😕 😕 😎 😎 😎 😎 😎 😎 :twiste...

ok, here's a new one.

Mother and Son come in today disputing return polocies. Apparently, Mother had delegated the responsibility of replacing Son's damaged phone to said seventeen-year-old Son. Son files his claim, but is upset over the (gasp) 3 days without crac-- er, without his phone. So what does he do? buys a phone full retail. Fast forward to 3 weeks later. Due to whatever delay through Asurion, the phone took a week to arrive, he sits on the new phone for 3 weeks before deciding to return it. Of course, the 15 day return has expired. Mother and son raise hell with management because Mother put the responibility on Son to take care of this, and it's our fault for not saying anything before the 15 day period return. Son never looks ...
