Wow that's pretty cool... My NE2 is up at the end of October, I had been leaning towards the Motorola E815, but now maybe the Nokia 6256i is looking like a good choice.

The 6256i is not EVDO capable. No V-Cast availability on it. 👿

I don't care about V-cast or EVDO really. Once the end of October rolls around I'll head into a store, check out both phones in my hand, play around with them a bit, see how it feels, how the ringers are, how the vibrate is (I've heard the E815 vibrate is kind of weak) etc. And hey if I don't like one of them, return it within 15 days and try out the other... plain and simple 🙂

For myelf personally, I have to agree. I hear that no EVDO phone has trimode, for example (no room for it?), so you have to choose... do I want EVDO or do I want trimode?
For now, for me, I'll take trimode over EVDO. In a couple of years, that'll probably change, as it gets more features and more speed and the pric...

That is amazing, it's really hard to believe that Verizon is allowing OBEX. I see the box in the picture. Do you think this Nokia will still have GIN on it? Some how I think they allowed OBEX but somehow crippled other parts of the phone so bad that it really doesnt matter. Does that make any sense? Maybe the put a limit on what files can be transfer, or you can transfer them but not apply it in any logical way.

I've read on howardforums.com that the mp3 player doesn't work (and odds are neither does the FM radio) but I don't care about those features, that's why I have a mp3 player.... I just want a good stable phone with good reception and clear call quality.

Then you might want to strongly consider the Moto E815. I like most people have tried many different phones and providers. The E815 has the clearest call clarity I've ever experience.

yeah rambo is correct. I carry the Nokia 6255i and the moto 710 on my hip and by far the nokia has dropped more calls then my moto
