How do you figure it will be better?

1.3 megapixle plus flash if I remember correctly. Also sturdier construction.

Granted, it will still be for verizion, so it will still suck on many levels. However it will still be better than the GSM V3 RAZR.

Also a software update I think

Given that the RAZR already packs Java technology and has a built-in antenna, both of which are Sprint preferences, it's more likely to come to that network than to Verizon's.

Yea, i saw it had ev-do by another member on here, but who knows. wasnt it true that verizon messed up a little bit with the whole bluetooth and a phone?

i would say it looks pretty nice, and is decent, but who knows that it will deliver great results, becuase verizon isnt really known for having the coolest phones. we will have to see though and it should be interesting in the 06 time frame, when it is supposed to come out.

the current razr maybe, but it will be on par with the updated GSM RAZR which will be released about the same time as the CDMA one, also the v3x is due out some time then as well, so yes the CDMA RAZR will be better than the current GSM RAZR but will actually be about the same as the Updated razr and worse than the V3x. plus The GSM one doesnt have the OBEX profile disabled.

Im not going to even lie to you, last month for the entire month I was trying to find and buy the new RAZR for GSM which is supposed to be equal to the CDAM RAZR but this phone had more stuff then it. I was willing to pay whatever to get my hands on it. But now I will wait for CDMA as I do not like GSM but was willing to get GSM just for that phone. So there, are you happy? I did not care too much about the RAZR until they told me the CDMA version will have a 1.3 mega pixel cam, and my favorite...Transflash memory slot so I can watch movies on 🙂 but the CDMA RAZR is nothing compared to this GSM RAZR which is part two for over seas. Here is the link

NO but the Razor being out for more then a year makes it old news. It was a big deal when it first came out. You can get them pretty cheap on Ebay.
Oh and the MPX220 may have had issues but show me another smart-phone that size with MP3 ring tones and Ebay access. For $200 there is not a better bang for the buck on the GSM side of things.

You're right. I forget sometimes how slow Verizon is in releasing phones. I'm going to go out on a limb here and suggest many will be disappointed as many Cingular users were and are. Although the pricing I have seen for the Verizon model seems awful high for what the phone delivers.

It's actually not a LG UI. All future Verizon phones will have the same UI. Verizon is doing this so that a) it is easily recognizable as a Verizon phone and b) if you know how to use one phone, you know how to use all the phones. The new Samsung a970 has this UI and I have seen pictures and video of the new Motorola V323 with this UI as well.

Yep, which is fine with me (not that I have a choice) but I see it making some Motorola fanatics upset. I want a Motorola UI on my damn Moto phone...blah blah blah. I read verizon is going to take it one step further then just the same UI they also are all going to start having the same charging port on all their phones. 😁

i heard that as well but i think they will lose money on that because you will no longer have to buy an extra charger when you get a new phone if they all start to use the same charger
