So, I'm not sure I really like the VCAST stuff for $15/month on my VCAST phone. So if I change over to the mobile web 2.0 $5.00/month package, is it true that I would have:

1. Unlimited anytime usage of mobile web 2.0 services
2. Unlimited anytime usage of Get It Now services, outside of the cost of a downloaded program, of course

Yes, that is true. I had this plan before getting VCast. You get unlimited airtime for Mobile Web and Get It Now. As you mentioned, you will have to pay for apps on GIN, but you will not use any of your anytime talk minutes.

you read your bill wrong. you were billed airtime for both mobile web browsing and get it now usage if you had the $4.99 package.

Part of the $15 charge for VCast is to cover airtime for VCast downloads, mobile web access and Get It Now. The $5 mobile web package does not. You will still be billed airtime for GIN and Mobile Web Access.
