i saw an lg5200 photo in a verizon store
i was walking past a verizon store a saw photos of new lg phones. they had the 8100, 4650, and the 5200. i didn't go in and phonescoop doesn't show that verizon will be carring it.
i also don't know why the 5200 was advertised since verizon already has the 6100 that appears to do the same thing as the 5200.
any thoughts?

The phoneis going to be on Verizon. If you read through the forums on howardforums.com its scheduled ot be released 8/15. The hpone is an updated version of the VX6100 despite the lower model number. LG must be runing out of numbers for their phones.

Our Lg rep said that they lowered the model # so that they could use the 6000's for other phones in the future.

Eek, if you compare the 5200 with the 6100 here on phonescoop, it hardly seems like the 5200 is an upgrade.... 😕
