LG VX-8000 Shutoff Issue

Is anyone else still experiencing shutoff issues with the VX-8000? I have noticed other threads regarding this issue. I am on my third handset and am still having the problem. I've taken my handsets to my local store where they've been tested. My local store states there is nothing wrong with the phone but the issue still persists. It's been like pulling teeth to get my local store and customer care to hive me replacements. At this point I'm fed up with the phone. Can anyone give me advise on how to get customer care to allow me to switch to another manufacturers comparable phone? I'm not getting anywhere with them on my own. This is very frustrating! 😡

Thanks

My Fiancee and i are having the SAME issues! Any reps out there have any advice on how to switch to a different phone? This problem is rediculous! We got ours in May, have had the software updated and still have the problem. We have not had them swap it out for the same model because in other threads we have read it does not alleviate the problem. HELP! OR when will there be a fix?

I'm personally not aware of this issue. A few policies are in place for issues like these, most of which people don't like. Secondly, we have a replacement policy in the stores that cover any type of software issues/manufacturer's defects during the one-year warranty. Normally you'll need to be able to replicate the issue for the technician. This always leads to calls into customer service, but you have to realize that even if you are being completely 100% honest about your problem, there are tons of people out there who will say anything to try to get a different phone. If you take the phone into the...
