Porting over, but are there any new phones coming?
Ok so for many reasons I am leaving Cingular ASAP to come to Verizon. My cingular phone has horrible reception in my area since it competes with Canadas towers and cingulars phones dont allow me the option to stop it from roaming. Also the phone I have has horrible sound quality. However, I dislike verizons phone selection. Does anyone know if any new smaller verizon phones are coming out? If you do it would be very helpful. If no new ones are coming out soon, I will try to port to Sprint or maybe go back to T-Mobile which I had before Cingular and actually liked it pretty well. Thanks for all your help if you can provide it.

The new Motorola E815 just came out today for Circuit City and it is $100 with a 2 yr agreement. There is also the LG VX8100 that is suppossed to be coming out on July 11, but I won't be holding my breath. There is also the Audiovox CDM 8940 which I hear is pretty decent. Mind you I just listed their top of the line phones. If you want a lower phone in their lineup, I would say the Samsung A670 or the Audiovox CDM 8910. Hope this helps.
I wouldn't go to Sprint. They charge you for everything. Tey are the only ones who charge for roaming. What is up with that?
T-Mobile doesn't have any coverage once you leave a big city like Manhattan. Plus, T-Mobile roams on the Cingular network and vice versa.

Well I had Tmobile before and its coverage is perfect in my area where as cingular is not, which is why I would even consider going back to them. Too bad Cingular wont let me roam on TMobile, but then again Cingular blocks out the option to pick your network. Verizons phones are nice but a bit too big, but I have heard from many people their service in the area is outstanding compared to Cingular. I very seldom leave my area.

According to a nice Verizon corporate store I talked to recently, two new Nokias are coming out for Verizon in the mid- to late-July timeframe.
One will likely be an entry-level phone (since the 6015i is being discontinued for VZW), and most ppl's educated guess is that the other is likely either the 6235 or 6255. But we won't know for sure for 2-3 weeks. 😕
