That's right. The damned thing WAS $199.99 and they have actually INCREASED the price by thirty dollars! What low grade crack are they inhaling over there? I can get it for $79.99 on Amazon, Radio Shack damn near anywhere. What gives?

What gives is they don't sell. They could charge $30 for it and it would sit there. But if I were to venture another guess, it might have something to do with the fact that RIM is paying Verizon to allow current BlackBerry users to upgrade early to new BlackBerry phones at deeper discounts than usual. It gives Verizon the opportunity to subsidize less on a poorly-selling phone.

Really? Hmmmmm...nah. If I were sticking with RIM (Which I'm not) I would still hold out for a BB10 handset which means I would not upgrade to this the 9930 under any circumstance so...you are absolutely right. What Blackberry fan would lock themselves into a BB7 handset for two years?
