It it just the website or me, but i cant seem to find any of the America's Choice plans under $59.99. Did they do away with those lower price plans or is it the website? Can someone inform me.

That's not a secret. Those are the plans. There's also a $49.99 700 anytime, unlimited night/weekend and "in network". That website you were on must have been messed up. Was it the actual Verizon website or something else?

I checked out the Verizon site for the Chicago area. They display the "Recommended" plans on the calling plans main page; the lowest one displayed for the National Plan is the one for $49.99. But, there is a link for "view all plans", and you then see all the plans available for the America's Choice plan, starting at $34.99. Almost appears that they are hiding the less expensive plans.

Yup. As dealers, our Verizon reps recommend we don't even display the plans below $39.99. They aren't even on the brochures that we hand out to customers. We don't get paid any commissions for selling them, so I don't think you'll find any dealer that will tell you about the plan. Deceptive, yes. At&t used to do the same thing with their 19.99 plan. It was in a seperate brochure. Now they've got it in with the other plans, but it wasn't always like that.
