Since this "delay" and how we are closer to the Droid Bionic release date, I don't see why I shouldn't wait a little bit more and cop the Droid Bionic. For the longest time, I wanted the HTC Thunderbolt. It's got everything the HTC Thunderbolt plus more except an FM radio (so what).
It's made by Motorola though. I have had bad experiences with Motorola (e.g. Motorola Q). I hated the Motorola Q.
Someone please give me some advice.

Wait. If the Droid Bionic is a FEW months away. I might go with the Thunderbolt. Can't wait that long. Or can I?
What am I getting for waiting for the Droid Bionic? A bigger phone, HDMI output, dual core, bigger storage capability, and dual core. I, also, get to enjoy my $15 data plan that is sufficient for a Blackberry 8830.
What if I go with an HTC Thunderbolt? Well, I get it in 8 days. This decision will stick with me for 2 years!
Is the Droid Bionic exactly like the HTC Thunderbolt, but with more features? Which one will have better quality? Is it better to way or not? What do you think?
Please give me some advice. I appreciate it.

Yeah, prove it.
...
Oops. I worded it wrong. I meant to say that I get to keep my $15 data plan with a Blackberry 8830 UNTIL I switch over to the Droid Bionic. Sorry.

Get an iPhone. Android sucks.
If you must have an Android get the Thunderbolt. At least it has HTC Sense that masks some of that ugly Android software. Motorola phones are big and ugly.
...
TY for your response.
i dunnnno, I am kind of an iPhone hater. If I was going to get it, I would get the iPhone 5.
Leaning towards the Thunderbolt right now.
...
How does android suck? That clearly makes no sense. Iphones suck. You can't even have insurance on them. My boyfriend cracked his screen and had to pay $100 for a screen. That's stupid. At Least Verizon will replace a phone while you are under the warranty or the 30 day grace period.
...
I already told you a Blackberry feature is not compatible with any other smartphone.
...
I, also, get to enjoy my $15 data plan that is sufficient for a Blackberry 8830 in the meantime, until I upgrade to a Droid Bionic.

You've answered your own question. Sure I could post another page long rant about how much Motorola sucks but then one of the moderators would just delete it like they did the last time I did that. Go with your head or go with your heart. It's your money.

Well I am only basing my opinion about Motorola on the Motorola Q that I got many years ago. Companies bounce back, don't they? Technology has improved since then. I, also, hear good things about the Droid X.
Based on my research, people are slightly favoring the Droid X over the Incredible.

And yet, I had and loved the Q. It was a great phone for me, back then.
...
I can't remember why I didn't like it.
...
I can. Having 11 FRUs before they FINALLY put me into a Black one.
...
And an "FRU" is what?
...
Field Replacement Unit. They have now been cleverly christened Certified Like New Replacements CLNR. I like FRU better.
...
hahaha-so did I! Back then it was 'da bomb lol.
...
Sure. GM is making a comeback after all. I'm sure you'd rather have an American made car over a Lexus (Toyota crap) or a Mercedes or a BMW.
...
Well, a phone is nowhere near as complex as a car.
A good company will try to improve.
...
Just saying your comparing apples and oranges.
Technology changes.
People get fired.
New people come into the game.
There are plenty of factors that play into whether or not a company will continue pushing out crappy products.
You're view of Motorola is based on conjecture.

My view of Motorola is based on an experience from less than a month ago.
...
My view of Motorola is only an opinion just like pretty much everyone else here. What is it with people stating obvious Bull*Bleep* in the forums these days. If I KNEW every thing I would not be wasting time here. I'd be running Google or at least on the staff or something.
...
I have to disagree.... NOW. I used to be a big Moto hater... Sure the Q was junk and the Razr's were horrid and battery life has sucked on most Moto's in the past.
The Droid's are a whole different story. I love my Droid X. All of the Motorola Droids have been awesome from what I've seen and we sell a lot of them. I had the Incredible and the Fascinate as well and still pick my Droid X over those.
Now to the original OP's question. That's a hard one. I think I'm going with the Thunderbolt for now but doesn't mean I won't go to the Bionic later. It is time for a little change and I think the Thunderbolt will be a nice change. It's hard to pass up the dual core on the Bionic though.
...
I welcome your opinion. I mean everyone has to have one and it would be quite dull if we all agreed. That being said, if they GAVE me a Motorola that mofo would be on Ebay the next day and I'd be back in my 8300 or Incredible.
...
I disagree about the razrs, I had one for two years and only had to switch because my screen went out. I was admittedly very hard on this screen because I could solve my being fidgetty with flipping it back and forth. All in all it had every feature I could have wanted while I was in high school and for a flip phone.
...
Motorola is indeed CRAP! Especially the touchscreens they use.
I'm done with Motorola like a bad girlfriend!
...
So basically your saying in 2 years when she has gone through a complete transformation you will take her up on the offer to go out and possibly get some I've missed you nooky from motorola?
...
Personally I'm done with Motorola also. I had the original Motorola Droid, way, way too many problems with the touchscreen, and I couldn't eveven use it while it was charging sometimes, touchscreen would act way wacky while it's charging. I am !!done!! with Motorola!
3 weeks ago I got an LG Ally. No problems or complaints so far.
...
Thank you for your response. I remember hating motorola after the motorola q.
I am going with the HTC Thunderbolt now for sure! I can't wait!
