LG Octane
My wife and I upgraded to LG Octanes. People we called, cell and landline, local and long distance, said they were getting an echo (feedback) of their voice. Confirmed this at the store, with the store landline and their demo Octane. Went to a different store, exchanged the phones for new ones, same thing. A total of six phones gave the same problem. When we called an Octane with an Octane, the feedback and other interference was so bad we could hardly carry on a conversation. Talked to Verizon tech service, they had not heard of it, did not seem too concerned. Went back to both stores about a week later, they said they had sold quite a few Octanes, no other reported problems. Has anyone else had this problem? We turned the phones back in, h...

No surprise. I wouldn't buy an LG cell phone if someone paid me. Never did care for the brand. Try a Samsung, you'll be happier.

Hmmm I'm glad to see this post. We just sold our first Octane in the store this week and the customer had this same issue. We replicated it in the store. We figured just a defective phone. We swapped it out for another and luckily the second one seems perfect. Hopefully it stays that way. I'm a little disappointed to hear this though and it'll probably be a reoccurring issue though if it's this wide spread.

LG hasn't made a decent Verizon phone since the 8300. Probably not a decent phone period, but I can't speak to the other carriers personally. I can't believe the faith I used to have in them. 🙄

We have sold quite a few and have had one returned with that issue. Swapped it out and all was good.

Well hopefully it was just a bad shipment of certain ones then! I'd hate to see this phone ruined with issues. Glad to hear your results as well as justmarried.
