If you need unlimited, $30 will continue to be the way to go. If you're a lighter user, you can do the $15 for 150MB option, starting October 28.
Not that it makes much difference, but the overage on an extra 50MB of data is only $5, and still cheaper than unlimited. And it was probably designed that way.
Is it that how it will work, or will it be up to another 150MB for an added $15? I recall having read the latter. The former is less onerous.
I know my wife could use the new plan on her Blackberry, where I need to continue with unlimited. It's nice to have the lower option, since it will fit our needs.
This will still work for my wife's line. I guess another $15 isn't too bad, since I'm currently paying $30 anyway. It's still 10 cents per megabyte, but in a bucket of 150 MB.
Sorry about the incorrect information. I think my original source had figured the overage worked out to 10 cents per MB, but neglected to mention that it was in a $15 bucket.
I'd much rather see it a flat 10 cents/MB.
Just to confirm - is this $15 plan available for a BlackBerry device?
Thanks.
When you're online, you can chose which month of usage you look at. I'd look at the last three months - if you went over once, look back six months. If you go over two out of the last three months, look at it again in a few months.
If you go over once in six months, I'd still go with the 150MB plan. Once or twice a year, you pay double the monthly - an extra $30 in a year But the other ten months of the year, you saved $150.
If you're close to 150MB, it's better to just keep the unlimited. If you go over by 1MB, you're paying the same as unlimited.

Unfortunately, we on Verizon will only receive 150MB for $15, unlike AT@T, where their subscribers receive 200MB for $15.
or use here at sprint getting unlimited for $15.00
