I just got back from NYC and noticed this. I'm so sorry about your DROID and I feel your pain. I was on the phone ordering my Droid the first day it came out and had it in my hot little hands the next day. Thats when things took an ugly turn.... I did not have the screen problems you had but my screen was so sensitive that it would type 3 -4 of a letter or number I would touch. I couldn't even scroll through apps because once I touched the screen ever so lightly it would take off and open what ever app I happened to hit. I called Verizon, who called Motorola and finally came to the conclusion that the phone was defective. So sad, I returned it and my new one will be in the mail 8/4. Did you return and reorder yours?
