Question about Voyager, Dare and Possibly Replacement

Hey i needed to know, between functionality wise which one is better the Voyager or the Dare phone, im looking for a phone that has a full html web browser but also at the same time so the phone doesn't reset itself after going on the web browser so many times. Also is the Dare's virtual keypad good? Im just a bit effy about the all touch keypad thing.

Also my enV Touch phone has been driving me nuts where it constantly resets on me for web browsing or almost any other random thing going on. If i try to get another update or get a refurbished phone will it correct the problem? Because i am hearing bad reports saying the replacement refurbished ones are worst than the original mint factory condition one.

It could be as simple as your software on the envTouch. Go to Menu, Settings, Phone Info, SW Version, and your software should end in "9"

If it's not the right software, you can back out one level and try the software update menu (the same place it had SW version). If it doesn't show an update, you'll have to take it to a store to have it updated. It takes about 15-20 minutes on that phone (less if you're using a memory card, everything is on it, and you take it out before the update).

My store is the biggest tech center for a few hundred miles, so I see tons of problems. Since the last update, I really haven't seen too many Env Touch phones in. Reset was a common issue before.

My phone is up to date, it still resets though is the only problem. I was asking if i should bother just getting a different phone or get a replacement even though i hear the replace one is worst than the original mint condition one.

Yeah from the way it sounds from another thread it does, but my only problem is there anyway i can carry the insurance over to the phone either by buying it on ebay or something? Im not sure if Verizon still has it for sale anymore.

Both the Voyager and Dare have been discontinued. You probably can't buy either one from Verizon anymore.

I have the LG Dare and it's been a pretty good phone. I actually like it alot. It does everything I need it to do and it does it all well. Don't get me wrong..in 10 months when I can upgrade again, I'll probably move on to something newer/cooler like an Incredible. But that's just because I'm a gadget junkie. Not because there is anything wrong with my Dare. I really like the size of the Dare. It fits in a pocket super easy. I find the virtual keyboard with haptic feedback quite easy to use. The browser works ok, but any of the newer Android phones will blow it away. Anyhow, that's my two cents on the Dare. Let me know if you have any specific questions about it. I'll try to answer them.
