Unlimited IN texting reported???
Hey any reps know anything about this? On howardforums.com it said something about $10 unlimited in text with 250 for other carriers.....my numbers may be wrong but you get the idea...if anyone has info pass it along. If you would like to read what I saw go to howardforums.com then click on verizon forum and scroll down, you will see the header for it.

I haven't heard anything like that but sometimes rumors and speculation turn out to be true, so only time will tell. At present, though, there is no feature that I know of that offers IN-texting. You can however text for free at www.vtext.com to all VZW customers.

What do you mean by limited time promo? Do you mean that you can only get those packages until september? OR Do you mean that you will only be able to have those packages as part of your plan for a certain amount of time instead of for as long as you are with verizon wireless?

As long as you sing up for it it is on your contract, it will not be offered to add after the specific date, add it and you can keep it indefinatly

that's doubtful, as it would conflict w/ every other txt package vzw has offered (every promo txt package has an expiration date.)

Wfine81 is right, there is no expiration date on this promo, I am looking at the new brochure right now. In the past when we had double your text it always said good through(**/**/****) this doesn't, so it should be good forever once you put it on your account.

There is and its in sept. I will repost the exact date. But that is only when they will decide to keep the same packages or revamp them. If you mean will these be grandfathered in the answer is yes they will be. But the actual promo is from april - sept.

Sometimes the expiration date is written in the sfo description but sometimes it isn't For example, there was an unlmtd txt pkg promo in 11/2003, the description didn't state the expiration date but it did expire in feb or march of 2004

Just got off the conference call for the new promo. The new promo will run untill sept 4th, once you have it on your account, you will have it forever unless you change it, it has no trial period or experiration date. Another cool thing about it is how the overage is billed, If you go over your offnetwork txt, or pix it will only charge you 10 to send and 2cents to receive, even if it is a picture message. That is a lot better than a quarter they charge on other promos.
