Ripped From the Headlines - AT&T & iPhone
Which is exactly what verizon needs. When verizon gets the best phone in the world, the IPHONE than it will be the biggest powerhouse in the wireless industry!
There are tons of phones that are much better, so yea... "best" is not the correct word to use.

The iPhone isn't the "best phone in the world" ... but, it certainly is one of the most popular ones (which is really what counts when it comes to $$$).

Agreed. The droids that are out in Verizon's network are the best...Actually phones do totally different things depending on what you need it for
Im down worrying about the iphone. The nexus one does everything the iphone can do and more.
I know verizon wants the iphone, but I will prolly be passing.
and not just why you're an iphone fan (which you should be if you're so into macs)
--Offering and underpowered OS (mainly so it will work on all 3 models).

You can over complicated a product. ...most people don't care about the customization, or the glass the droid is made out of, etc...plus you guys are acting like Apple is resting on its laurels and are done reinventing the wheel. Just wait I'm sure we will be blown away with what Apple has in store for us!

The glass issue is a non-starter considering the phone design is three years. I'm sure they'll come up with better materials, but you raise a very salient issue.
As far as customization, what is there to do? Change the background? Big deal. I know that for some people, being able to "express themselves" with their phone is important, I don't see that as really a bonus to any other smart phone.
I'm certain that the iPhone will make Verizon's network engineers crap bricks for months...
