I know all of that one more business oriented email stuff....both will have the programs I need for the hospital. Both have good cameras. Both have internet etc. My main question is which is more responsive and acts more like a "normal phone" when calling and texting?? The email advantage is not really relevant for me either. I have heard the new update for the storm really helped with general speed. What would you guys do?? Thanks in advance!

PS I dont want to wait for a newer pda to come out as they will be a couple hundred more up front and I dont want to wait months....

my opinion is Storm, with updated software. Have worked with both phones extensively and Omnia has it's own fair share of problems. Lagging, freezing, memory full issues right out of box, Windows issues etc. Blackberrys are easier to fix and seem to have less OS issues. Just my own opinion though, I am sure you will get more...Have the Storm personally and I have had no problems with it and I use it extensively with emails, media, music, do have the Epocrates app on it and runs smoothly. Just make sure if you go with Blackberry you get the app made for it. The new OS also makes texting a breeze, typed a 160 character in full keyboard mode without looking at keys and sent it to myself. Didn't have a single misspelled word. Have droppe...

both my wife and I have the Omnia and we would be happy to sell you ours so we could get a Blackberry. The Omnia is ok if you are never actually in a hurry to use your phone. The touch screen makes the phonebook a torture device and the call log should proabbly just put up a picture of a middle finger when you open it, if someone calls you that is in your phone book with more than one number it doesn't tell you what number they called from just taht they called which I guess is ok if they live and work in the same spot and only use their cell in the same space.

I'm stuck for a while now unless I get fed up enough to pay full retail. I have a co-worker that has the blackberry flip with T-Mobile that he likes, I hear it will be coming out for VZW soon.
