Years of (database?) problems with VZ Navigator
I was wondering if anyone ever gets erroneous listings, gets a residential phone number instead of a proper business number, or is led to address listings that do not exist, either ever or in the last few years when they do a business search with VZ Navigator.
I have been a customer of Verizon since 2003 and user of VZ Navigator for as long as I can remember. Through three or so phone models anyway. But today I finally canceled because of the recurring completely incorrect information and the lack of response or improvement in the last three years.

there is a free 411 number you can call.. its google based 1800goog411 (1-800-466-4411. also not sure if google maps works with VZW phones know it works well on alltel phones.

I have a garmin GPS that is like 1.5 years old. It is missing entire towns, not to mention individual stores
I'm not saying that the missing information is justified, but gps is still developing, and is only as accurate as the data it has available.

Remember...it is assisted GPS. Are you fully within the National Enhanced Coverage area((in other words, do you have full EVDO signal))? If not...that's the problem right there. The more remote the area...the more likely to find problems.
