You'd need to be more specific about what you or your friend were specifically interested in with regard to the iPhone. iPhone has a unique user interface, as well as a unique platform. As such, the only similarities to iPhone would be in the form of, "Oh, this phone has a touch screen." Describe what you'd like to do with the device, and I'm sure that you could probably find a suitable Verizon Wireless device.

If you're looking for a device that still has access to Get It Now, which also sometimes goes by the name Media Center, then you might want to purchase a Dare or a Versa. If you're willing to step away from the regular Verizon Wireless user interface (I say that because many customers like it for its simplicity and the fact that it...

Or a phone with a 3D holographic display. I really think that iPhone will one day be among the firsts in wireless, like the DynaTac and dozens of "firsts."'

All I'm waiting for is a phone that makes lunch. It's all I need.

The Windows Mobile, Sandwich edition. Just pop a particle-fax machine in your refrigerator and send anything directly to your mobile device. Includes a seperate port for liquid refreshment. Update to the professional edition to gain the ability to make hot lunches directly from your mobile device.

Warning, Blue screens may result in abominations that even your manager won't eat.
