New LG models?

Has anyone heard anything on LG coming out with anything new for VZW? I have the 7000 and I'm due up soon.. but the 8000 doesn't thrill me.. It's too big and bulky (the 7000 is already to big in my eyes), and I don't get VCast coverage where I live yet. Help? 🙄

I dont know on the upcoming phones, but, I would like to ask you a question on the 7000. How did you like that phone, did it work good, any problems, just a general thought on the phone itself, I am looking at getting it and was trying to get feedback on them. About it being bigger then normal, that is the best aspect of it for me anyway...any input would be great. thanks

Well, I've had the 7000 since July of last year.. and generally have not had one single problem with it. The menus are great - real easy to manuver around. Color is vibrant - ringers are loud & clear.

The video and picture quality is decent, also. The flash is pretty much useless though.

It would be great if it was bluetooth, or had speaker phone - but other than those two things this phone has been great. I'll miss it when I upgrade! 🤭

Thanks for the reply, I hope I like mine. I have 15 days to decide if it is worth the extra $70 for speakerphone, that option would be nice, and about the only feature it has that I really would want, nice when checking voicemail. 🙂

I currently have LG VX-7000 for few months. The phone and interface are easy to use.
Here is my experiences with the phone.
-When you get a phone call, you pick up the phone and answer. At first few seconds, people who are on the other line won't hear anything. You will have to wait few seconds before you can talk. This is bugging me.
-Video and camera are so-so. Picture quality is ok, not so decent.
-Multi-color which indicates close to external screen cannot turn off.
-Good reception.
-lack of speaker phone and voice command, would be nice with those features.
-Battery is a bit better than LG VX-6000. It lasts for a day (heavy usage)
After all, LG phones are easy to use, friendly interface.
My mom did not know how to use ...

It is not on phonescoop yet. I found it on phonearena.com. I just did a search on there for VX-8100.

I have heard that it will be out around late 3rd quarter or 4th quarter of this year. But I have no confirmation of that as I do not work in the wireless industry, so all the info I have has been gathered off of the internet.

We still haven't resolved whether the 8100 is all digital or trimode. What does phonearena.com say about that?

AS to be expected, it is dual mode only, no analog. It does look like it will be smaller for those that think that is better..goto phonearena.com, do a search for lg 8100, you can read all about it...
