Vcast with smartphone
Anyone know if Vcast can be used with any Vzw Smartphones? I want to get Mobile Email and sync to Outlook on my pc.

Unfortunately no. The VCAST VPAK is only for regular phones. PDAs/smartphones/blackberries have their own seperate data plans

As dalily21 stated, it is not. The Email & Web for smartphones plan is what you would want. It would accomplish your requests. Also, it's not much more in cost. VCast would have cost you $15, plus $5 for mobile email. So you would have been at $20 total. The Email & Web plan is only $29.99 and actually you'll have a lot more functionality being on a smartphone.

Oh, I thought the VCast included Mobile Email, then $5 more for 250 text...for a total of $20 on top of Voice plan.

You can check your email with Vcast by using mobile web, but mobile email is actually a different service because it alerts you when you have mail without having to actively check your mailbox.
