Blackberry Storm re-release date

Does anyone know why the Storm's release date on Verizonwireless.com web site keeps being pushed back?

Due to high demand orders placed now will ship by 12/17

Seems pretty straightforward to me.

The ship dates are being altered due to when the warehouse will receive new shipments. It's not a re-release. It's just that when you order it will not ship until the date indicated on the website. The longer you wait the longer it will take for you to receive it
